		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Background and aim: &lt;/strong&gt;To determine the diagnostic accuracy of contrast-enhanced fluid-attenuated inversion recovery in the diagnosis of meningitis and compare it with contrast-enhanced T1 sequence, taking cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis as the gold standard.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Material and methods: &lt;/strong&gt;Forty patients referred to the Department of Radiodiagnosis of Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) with clinical symptoms of meningitis were subjected to Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examination of the brain with pre- and post-contrast sequences, including T1 and fluid-attenuated inversion recovery sequences. Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis reports were the gold standard and correlated with the MRI findings. Also, an attempt was made to identify patterns of leptomeningeal enhancement in various aetiologies of meningitis.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Results: T&lt;/strong&gt;he post-contrast fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (PC FLAIR) showed a significantly higher sensitivity of 97.06% (95% CI: 84.67% to 99.93%) than the PC T1FS, which had a sensitivity of 76.47% (95% CI: 58.83% to 89.25%). The specificity for PC FLAIR was found to be 83.33% (95% CI: 35.88% to 99.58%), while for PC T1FS, it is 66.67% (95% CI: 22.28% to 95.67%) without significant difference in specificity between the two sequences. The diagnostic accuracy of the PC FLAIR sequence was 95.00%, compared to 75.00% for the post-contrast T1 fat suppression (PC T1FS) sequence in diagnosing meningitis.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Conclusions: &lt;/strong&gt;The PC FLAIR sequence outperforms the PC T1FS sequence regarding sensitivity, area under the curve, and diagnostic accuracy. Adding this sequence to the conventional sequence can optimize the early detection of abnormal meningeal enhancement.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Background and aim: &lt;/strong&gt;To correlate the clinical diagnosis of the suspected lesions of oral cavity using methylene blue stain, histopathological and cytopathological methods.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Material and Methods: &lt;/strong&gt;The study has been carried out in the Pathology department for a period of 1.5 years. The study includes in vivo application of methylene blue stain to clinically suspected premalignant and malignant lesions of oral cavity, followed by scrape cytology from the same site followed by its histopathological examination among 100 subjects which includes 60 cases and 40 controls. Scrape smear was collected from all the 100 subjects. Biopsy was done in 48 cases out of 60 cases.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Results: &lt;/strong&gt;Out of 48 cases, maximum lesions were found to be malignant (71%), followed by premalignant (17%) oral lesions. Benign lesions were found in male patients only and malignant lesions (80%) and premalignant lesions (75%) were found in majority of males. Majority of patients (70%) had Well differentiated Squamous cell carcinoma, followed by 24% of patients having Moderately differentiated Squamous cell carcinoma.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Conclusions: &lt;/strong&gt;The current study shows that majority of patients presented with carcinoma and very few at premalignant stage. There is prevalence of habits of tobacco chewing/smoking betel nut in India which are carcinogenic. So, the present study focused on highlighting the importance of screening of oral lesions to diagnose the oral lesions at early stage for its timely treatment and to improve the quality of life. In vivo methylene blue staining is simple, easy to perform, noninvasive, rapid, painless, inexpensive method.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Background and aim: &lt;/strong&gt;The aim of this in vitro study was to assess and compare the microhardness and degree of polymerization of dual-cure resin cement used for luting composite resin Endocrowns using the Vickers microhardness test and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Material and methods: &lt;/strong&gt;The study comprises two test groups and one control group. The test groups comprised composite resin endocrowns of 5.5mm and 7.5mm thickness. The dual-cured resin cement was used to lute the endocrowns. As a control group, 2 mm-thick cured resin cement was used. The cured resin cement was subjected to testing using Vickers microhardness and FTIR spectroscopy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Results: &lt;/strong&gt;The mean microhardness across all groups was 7.4663, with an overall standard deviation of 0.30963 and a standard error of 0.05653. The ANOVA test results revealed a significant difference in microhardness values (F = 180.665, p &lt; 0.001). The mean degree of polymerization across all groups was 7.8723, with an overall standard deviation of 0.35528 and a standard error of 0.06487. The ANOVA test results revealed a significant difference in the degree of polymerization between the groups (F = 144.873, p &lt; 0.001).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Conclusions: &lt;/strong&gt;The study&#039;s statistical analysis was evident through  ANOVA and post hoc Tukey&#039;s tests. The sufficient sample size for each group enhanced the statistical power and allowed for a more accurate variability assessment.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Background and Aim: &lt;/strong&gt;This study evaluated the reliability of two interocclusal recording materials with panoramic radiographs to measure sagittal condylar guidance in edentulous subjects.
&lt;strong&gt;Material and methods: &lt;/strong&gt;The study comprised 30 edentulous subjects. The protrusive interocclusal records were made at the jaw relation stage using bite registration paste and Plaster of Paris for all the subjects to program the Semi-adjustable articulator, and the condylar guidance values on the right and left sides were recorded. Digital orthopantomography was taken for all the subjects and traced, and the values obtained were compared with those obtained by the protrusive interocclusal record. The condylar guidance values obtained by the various procedures were tabulated and subjected to an independent t-test and Pearson&#039;s correlation test.
&lt;strong&gt;Results: &lt;/strong&gt;The results showed a statistically significant positive correlation (P &lt; 0.0001) between clinical protrusive interocclusal records (polyvinyl siloxane, Plaster of Paris) and panoramic radiographic sagittal condylar guidance values.
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusions: &lt;/strong&gt;Within the study&#039;s limitations, the condylar guidance values obtained from the panoramic radiographic tracing can be used to calculate the mean horizontal condylar guidance in completely edentulous patients. These values can also be used to program semi-adjustable articulators, avoiding the cumbersome process of obtaining a protrusive interocclusal record.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Background and aim: &lt;/strong&gt;Orthodontic adhesives, commonly used to bond brackets, can significantly enhance bacterial biofilm. Nanoparticles have strong antimicrobial properties without compromising bond strength. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of chitosan and TiO2 NPs mixed with orthodontic primer on shear bond strength.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Material and methods: &lt;/strong&gt;For this systematic review and meta-analysis study, international databases such as MEDLINE (PubMed and Ovid), Web of Science, and Scopus were searched until October 2024 using keywords relevant to the study objectives. STATA/MP. v17 software was used to analyze data.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Results: &lt;/strong&gt;The present study included twelve in-vitro studies with a total sample size of 684 human premolars. The mean difference in SBS score between the 1% and 5% chitosan NPs group and control group was -1.11 MPa (MD, -1.11 MPa; 95% CI, -2.27, 0.04; p=0.16) and 5.08 MPa (MD, -5.08 MPa; 95% CI, -7.80, -2.35; p=0.09), respectively. there were no statistically significant differences after comparing the mean SBS differences between the 1% TiO2 NPs group and control group (MD, -0.43 MPa; 95% CI, -0.99, 0.12; p=0.13).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Conclusions: &lt;/strong&gt;According to the results of the present meta-analysis, 1% and 5% chitosan NPs and 1% TiO2 have potential as promising adjuncts in dental adhesive formulations, improving antimicrobial activity without compromising adhesive properties.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Background and aim: &lt;/strong&gt;The present systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and stability of regenerative treatment and orthodontic tooth movement in stage IV periodontitis.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Material and methods: &lt;/strong&gt;For the present systematic review and meta-analysis study, international databases such as MEDLINE (PubMed and Ovid), Web of Science, and Scopus were searched until October 2024 using keywords relevant to the study objectives. STATA/MP. v17 software was used to analyze data.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Results: &lt;/strong&gt;The present study included ten studies. The present meta-analysis showed a mean reduction of 1.10 mm in probing depth (95% CI, -1.18mm, -1.03mm; P &lt; 0.001), an attachment gain of 1.96 mm (95% CI, -2.13mm,1.78mm; P &lt; 0.001), and radiographic bone level of -1.44 mm ( 95% CI -1.65mm, -1.22mm; p&lt;0.001).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Conclusions: &lt;/strong&gt;According to the one-year results of the present meta-analysis, an interdisciplinary approach can produce favorable and stable outcomes in motivated and cooperative patients with stage IV periodontitis who require orthodontic treatment.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>&lt;strong&gt;Background and aim: &lt;/strong&gt;The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of  Zinc Oxide (ZnONPs), Standard Silver(AgNPs), and Imidazolium-based Silver (Im-AgNPs) nanoparticles on the microhardness of root canal dentin.
&lt;strong&gt;Material and methods: &lt;/strong&gt;The literature was screened via international databases Cochrane, Embase, and MEDLINE (PubMed and Ovid) up to October 2024 with English language restriction. Two reviewers independently performed screening and evaluation of articles. The ToxRTool® checklist information contained eighteen items to evaluate Methodological quality. The mean difference was used as an effect size indicator to analyze each included study. The fixed-effect model with the Inverse–variance method combined the effect size. All meta-analyses were performed using Stata software (version 17).
&lt;strong&gt;Results: &lt;/strong&gt;A total of 219 articles were retrieved from all the databases; after applying eligibility criteria, seven studies were included. Immersion in standard AgNP irrigant significantly increased the VHN compared to the control group in the coronal (MD: 16.13 95% CI; 15.39-16.86; P˂0.001). Immersion in Im-AgNPs significantly increased the VHN in the middle (MD: 6.60 95% CI; 1.90-11.31; P˂0.05) and apical  (MD: 10.25 95% CI; 5.78-14.72; P˂0.001). ZnONPs irrigant increased the VHN, compared to the control group in the coronal (MD: 10.92 95% CI; 10.13-11.71; P˂0.001).
&lt;strong&gt;Conclusions: &lt;/strong&gt;Based on the present meta-analysis, root canal irrigants containing ZnONPs, Standard AgNPs, and Im-AgNPs can improve the microhardness of root canal dentin in coronal, middle, and apical regions.</Abstract>

		<Abstract>Breast carcinoma is the most common malignancy and leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women worldwide. However, breast carcinoma with an associated granulomatous inflammation in the same breast and axillary lymph nodes is unusual. This simultaneous occurrence of both diseases can complicate the neoplastic process. We present a series of four cases of invasive breast carcinoma with an associated granulomatous reaction in the breast and ipsilateral axillary lymph nodes. It is seen that axillary lymph node enlargement in cases of breast carcinoma is not always caused by metastasis of cancer. Various granulomatous lesions are Tuberculosis, sarcoidosis, brucellosis, foreign body reactions, cat scratch disease, lymphoma, and AIDS. It can also cause axillary lymphadenopathy. The presence of granulomas in association with malignancies should be further evaluated, particularly in regions with a high prevalence of Tuberculosis in developing countries like India, for the possibility of coexistent Tuberculosis, as this may alter the postoperative management and prognosis of the patient. Accurate diagnosis is crucial for downstaging breast carcinoma, identifying curable cases, and enabling effective management of both conditions.</Abstract>
